    Territory Manager (PVC) Interview

    Anonymous Interview Candidate
    No Offer
    Neutral Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Nestlé Purina in February 2018.

    Interview

Initial phone screening with a recruiter. Review resume and are asked 2 behavior based questions. If you pass you will go through a 3 hour long Skype or in person interview with 3 people from Nestle purina. Each will ask you 4 behavior questions. It is a tough pill to swallow when you prepare for many hours and posses all of the skills for the position, and you are denied after a great interview. It is rough to hear, "you have a lot to be proud of," but we are going with other candidates. On top of that an invite to sign up for this and or other opportunities that open up in the future. Why would I put myself through that again?
My suggestion is to be upfront and honest with people applying. Give them the reason why they were not chosen so they can at least have some peace of mind.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Nestlé Purina (Springfield, MO (US)) in January 2018.

    Interview

The whole process was very enjoyable from the phone interview all the way to the in person interview. Lori in HR at the Springfield Mo facility was awesome to work with through the hiring process. She always had time to answer any question and would always respond with in a reasonable amount of time. Just really helpful all around. From the time I spent in the interview and the walk around the facilities I get the feeling that the majority if not everybody there is the same way. I feel lucky to be able to be a member of their team and looking forward to my first day.

    Operations Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nestlé Purina in December 2017.

    Interview

Nestle Purina's interview process is intense. I was called by a recruiter to apply for the position. Once applied I had a phone interview with HR the week after. I was asked two questions, behavioral based questions. I made it to the final stage where you interview for 3+ hours on site with 3 different managers. They also asked behavioral based questions and asked for different examples for each interview. I appreciated only having to be on site once versus going back several times to meet everyone. However, once the interviews were over I waited a week just to receive a rejection email. I would suggest their HR department calling all candidates versus going with the automated message. Especially since they require you to take 4 hours out of your day to interview. Additionally, all three managers were late to all three of my interviews, punctuality is key when making impressions. People like to feel respected on both sides of the interview table. Overall, good interview experience, nice people, just need to close the loop on communication, and arrive on time.

    Interview Questions
