I initially applied via LinkedIn and received a rejection email stating; we regret to inform you that you were not selected for an interview. However, a day later, I was contacted again and invited to schedule an interview.
During the first round, I interviewed with four people, including a director-level member based in the US. Shortly after, I was invited for a second interview and later informed by the internal recruiter that they were impressed with my skills and experience. This led to a request for references, with a 24-hour deadline to provide them.
I completed one reference, but the next day, the recruiter was already chasing me for an update on the remaining ones. After supplying all the references, I received a call a few weeks later informing me that the project related to the role had been cancelled.
Despite this, I was informed of another vacancy and asked if I was interested, though it required starting the interview process from scratch. I proceeded with two interviews for this second role, which was tied to project funding. However, I never received any further updates, even though the position remains advertised on LinkedIn as of today, 31/05/2025.
This entire process has been an absolute waste of my time. For a company of NICE’s size, this treatment of candidates is incredibly unprofessional. I followed every step correctly, yet my time and effort amounted to nothing.
Shame on you, NICE.
