After submitting my resume i was called the next day.
I will admit that they were good in the aspect that they did work around my current work commitments.
At the interview it was very informal. I was told to wait for 15 minutes and then directed to the boardroom by the interviewer. Here they found the room in use and had to find a replacement venue.
We ended up outside on the patio area, at 5 in the afternoon in winter with a heavy chilling wind.
By this stage i engaged in small talk with the interviewer until the second member of the panel arrived.
The interview started with basic questions about career progression, experience and technical abilities.
Overall the interview went well.
I was told i would be contacted the following week.
I rang mid-week and left a message with the interviewer, and he rang me 2 days later. He said to me that
they hadn't had time yet to discuss the interview outcome and would need more time as it was a busy period and promised a reply by early next week.
I waited for 2 weeks with no contact and emailed him asking for the outcome. I was called 2 days later and he said there was a company restructure underway, and hes not sure if the original vacancy will still exist by the end of it, and that hell contact me with a definite reply in a week. He gave his word.
Im still waiting for a response, naturally i have moved on with my life. I do however, believe that they were very un-professional and this was a complete waste of time. To my dis-belief the vacancy still exists online.
So there you have it, perhaps worth the run around i dont know.
Ive done a few interviews and Ive never had to wait this long.
