There were four or five interviews, if you count the meeting with my future mentor. There were also a few personality assessments. Lots of paperwork. The finance industry is tightly regulated.

About to be college grad - they asked if I would be moving home (since the job was located at my home address) firstly. Then they asked what I was looking for in a job (I said more back-end analytics work) and in the pre-interview culture survey, a lot of my culture and personality aligned with a more independent and introverted working style. The hiring manager noted that I might not be a good fit for this position but offered to send my resume to the analytics team. Good to see that they would be willing to switch potential job offers based on what the interviewee is comfortable with.
The first interview was easygoing and went fairly well. We talked a little on myself and what northwestern was all about. Because they wanted to see how I could fit in to their team and what I would bring.

The process was smooth and straight forward. A lot of behavioral based questions, but relaxed and low stress. First phase is a phone screening followed by a teams or in person meeting.
