I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Nutrabolt (Los Angeles, CA) in June 2022
Interview
Interviewer was about 40 minutes late to the interview and that is that they last minute pushed the interview back the day of that morning due to having to pick up kids from school, and they were still 40 minutes late to the video interview. I stayed on the video interview waiting for a very long time. I received an email about 15 minutes after the interview time that they were still in a meeting and would hop on our interview in about 5 minutes. 5 minutes after that I still did not see them get on the call. They then interviewed me and apologized that whomever they were on a call or meeting with was talking a lot and that they were going to have to just cut them off soon. Eventually the interview started on our scheduled interview video call but was about 40-45 minutes late (almost an hour late). It was not a very good impression at all how late they were, and then how unprofessional they were being in their emails to me complaining about their customer talking too much. Once the interview finally started (almost an hour late), the interviewer went on and on on how they got the job, how they were stressed out, and details on the role. I was expecting a few questions about my skills and experience or my work ethic in there after they spoke about the job responsibilities, but they never asked me any questions or gave me the chance to speak much. The interviewer not only sounded and looked very stressed out and overwhelmed, but their home office background was very cluttered and messy with stacks of books everywhere and paperwork in the background and on their desk. The energy I received from them was very hectic and stressed out. It did not give me a good impression of the company if thats who I would be reporting to as my manager that did not care to ask me any interview questions in our interview just ramble about their personal work situation, and kept me waiting for them for 45 minutes for our scheduled interview after pushing it back super last minutes and still being late. I do not think the interviewer was having a good day. After that short 30 minute interview that was extremely unlike anything I had every experienced in an interview I was not looking forward to that opportunity anymore with the company. About 6 months later after the interview I received an automated email that they chose to move forward with another candidate. Not only did I have a job by that time, I had forgotten about that position, but I was also glad It did not work out because it did not seem like the right fit for me and what I am looking for in a company or my next manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Not one single question asking about my experience and skills.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nutrabolt in Mar 2025
Interview
I interviewed with two people. Each seemed very interested in my past experience and were easy to talk to. The whole process took about 2-3 weeks. This was honestly one of best interviews I've had in a while.
