I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at OYO
Interview
Had a good first impression about the company because of the leaders I interacted with. The vibe of the organisation was also very lively and vibrant. They gave feed back and reason for declining the offer which I felt was very professional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most difficult situation you had ever faced and how did you tackle it?
Four stage process, involving discussion with multiple stake holders . Provided detailed overview of the company and growth path of the company. Opportunities at OYO and expectation from the role
The process took 2 days. I interviewed at OYO (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Aug 2019
Interview
First of all, there is no waiting area for candidates. In interview process, they let a candidate meet any Tom and Harry, who doesn't seem interested in interviewing and is good at speaking his point more than listening to candidate's answers. Any junior person with hardly 1 year spent in OYO is called a senior resource. LOL ! Teammates are unaware of each other's designations. Trust me, I lost interest in first 5 minutes of the interview and intentionally started answering wrong so to get the rejection than working under a foolish manager. No feedback system. They rather don't believe in the practice of sharing feedbacks. If the HRs are like this, imagine the company culture!
I applied online. I interviewed at OYO (Pune) in June 2018
Interview
The interview process involved me applying at a common popular internship portal then I got a call from there HR ants called at their headquarters in Pune
then after crossing the HR round I was sent to the business development head Pune at oyo rooms and yet told me that I have to survey some areas and get the exact number of rooms in a hotel and the stipend would be provided on monthly basis and I need to report to office everyday at 9 a.m. and work till evening.
Basically it was a job of on boarding and acquiring new hotels
