I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at OfficeMax (Perrysburg, OH) in Apr 2012
Interview
2 interviews one with the assist manager who was nice, who i knew from doing merchandising, the other with the ops supervisor on my so called "selling skills"
1st interview went good, 2nd interview was odd because i haven't sold anything in retail for a while. I guess my selling was not good since i was stuck up on register for the duration of my stay at omax.
This process was very easy and seemed to verify I could interact with people. It was in the furniture section of the store and was with the store manager at the time.
The interview process was easy and strieght foward, they are mainly looking for an comunicative individual to work with. The hours were flexable and easy to work with the manager
The process was very relaxed, it was my first job had a good way to earn money over the summer. I would recommend this position To other people seeking a laid-back summer job
