The recruiter was very unprofessional from the get go starting with scheduling, and tried to gaslight me into believing it was my mistake. Throughout the initial screening call, the tone of the conversation was looking down on my experience with apathy and disregard, despite their apparent lack of technical expertise. As the call neared its end, the recruiter spoke as if my compensation would come directly out of their personal funds. Offering $90K for a Senior role requiring 7 years of experience? It was evident they were biased against me and actively sought ways to exclude me from the hiring process. A very bitter experience, easily one of the worst initial screening calls I have ever seen.
