The interview process was strange - for a managerial position, I wasn’t asked a single question about managing people or a team. It felt like the company (or maybe the recruiter?) didn’t really understand what kind of candidate profile they needed, or whether they actually wanted someone with managerial experience at all.

The most horrendus job interview i have ever participated in. The recruiters are absolute bafoons that waste their candidates time. Countless processes that lead to absolutely nothing! I recommend you avoid these charlatans at all cost.

Interview
In November 2024, I applied for a Business Development Manager role at Ovoko for the Romanian market on LinkedIn. I progressed through the interview process, including a video interview with a recruiter and a second interview with a Sales Manager and a Sales Team Lead. While the second interview felt more like a friendly conversation and I believe it went well, I was ultimately rejected.
Despite their claims of moving forward with other candidates, the position is still available on LinkedIn three months later.
While Ovoko is an interesting company with a lot of potential, my overall experience with their hiring process was disappointing and felt like a waste of time.
