I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Oxfam (Boston, MA) in Dec 2015
Interview
Called to schedule a phone interview which was done an hour later. Brief 30 min phone interview where the Global Staffing Specialist asked questions related to my resume and the job description. I received an email a few days later to schedule a panel interview with the GSS, Hiring Manager, and current Development Associate at their Boston office. They took turn asking more specific and technical questions related to my resume and the job description. Very friendly people. After the interview I was given a writing assignment on Friday to turn in by COB Monday (see Writing Assignment below). I was told that I would hear back by the end of the week or early next week but I never hear back. Too bad.

Question 1
The Wallace Global Fund is a foundation that works ‘to promote an informed and engaged citizenry to fight injustice, and to protect the diversity of native and natural systems upon which all life depends.’ We believe this foundation is a good prospect that could provide future funding to some of Oxfam America’s programs; however before engaging with this donor we need more detailed research that provides information on an alignment between both Wallace Global Fund’s programs and Oxfam America’s work. In no more than two-pages please provide any information that matches Wallace Global Fund’s initiatives with those of Oxfam America’s. Use any information publically available such as the foundation’s website, Oxfam America’s website, online information, etc.
