rigorous multi level interview process that involves talking to various members including the hiring manager and sometimes the stakeholders who you will be working with. the process involves situational interviews running with experts who question around how would your react if you find yourself in certain situations. the process is comprehensive and makes sure you have the right skills for the job. sometime it takes a long time to get back to the incumbent about the outcome of the interview and this is a little painful. this is mostly due to internal processes and approvals that are needed to close out process.

Interviewed with the recruiting office twice (first for 15 minutes, second for 30 minutes) as well as the hiring authority (for about 30 minutes). The recruiting office was simply looking to match my skills and experience with the job description. The interview with the hiring authority felt more like a conversation where she expressed to me the elements of the job and I worked to communicate my confidence in succeeding in the role.

The hiring authority talked at me more then asking me questions. It was almost as if she was explaining to the role to me more then asking pointed questions to learn if I am fit for it,

Interview
PNC interviwers are very professional. Each one was specialized in one area. For example, one manager would ask you about your related work experience, another one might be from a totally different ddepartment and ask about your computer skills. It can be very intense as multiple interviews can be acheduled in one morning. Be confident and be prepared for questions on particular projects you have done before.
