I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Parsable (Vancouver, BC) in Jan 2017
Interview
Initially contacted by recruiter. Had additional phone interview with engineer following by on site interview with SF engineer and director. Asked for feedback but never heard back from them. Nice office, interesting product but totally weird atmosphere and unprofessional HR!
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Parsable in July 2022
Interview
The interview process was very smooth and friendly. They asked a lot of behavioral interview questions as they care a lot about company culture. Recently, the company got acquired, so that culture may or may not change. It's a bit too early to tell.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Parsable (Vancouver, BC)
Interview
Met a guy from the San Francisco office for coffee. Was perfectly pleasant, we had a good talk. Was invited for two in person interviews at the Vancouver office. The first one was a technical interview with an engineer from the San Francisco office. I did a programming problem. It was tough but it was fair and the interviewer seemed cool. The next interviewer was an employee at the Vancouver office. It was a really awkward interview. He was pretty cold and unfriendly and it felt like he was uninterested in speaking with me. Needless to say, I didn't get an offer, but I wouldn't have accepted it anyways.
