The process was slow. I started with an HR interview, waited a couple of weeks, and then got a technical interview scheduled. The HR interview was a mix of generic interview questions and ones specific to the role I applied for. Some of them were on the repetitive side and were difficult to come up with new answers for.
The technical interview was comprised of typical front-end development interview questions - explaining the ins and outs of HTML, CSS, JS, and general web development workflow. The person who interviewed me was a peer, and for some reason HR had them ask my salary requirements. I think this could have been handled better - had I received an offer, this would have been awkward. They also repeated a ton of HR questions that I had already been asked in the first interview.
After the technical interview, the HR contact ignored my follow up emails for several weeks, and then I got an automated rejection email.
The people I spoke with were nice and professional on the phone, but I think the process as a whole could use some work.
