I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paycom (Oklahoma City, OK) in Aug 2021
Interview
I was first contacted by a recruiter for a phone screen. She asked me some questions about why I wanted to work at Paycom, and went over my qualifications. She was easy to talk to and very kind. She set me up for an interview with a supervisor and team lead and gave me some tips so I could better prepare for the interview. She also told me about other opportunities at Paycom that might be applicable to me if I didn't receive an offer for the NCS position. The formal interview was about 30 minutes of chatting and answering questions with the supervisor and team lead. They were really friendly and made me feel comfortable before they started asking situational questions. They gave me a multitude of scenarios that required me to think about past experiences I had in my previous positions. Some were straightforward, while others were a bit more challenging and complex. I think the most important thing is to give specific examples when it's possible. At the end of the interview they told me I would hear back within two business days. Abree, my recruiter, reached out to me on the next business day. I was surprised at how quick the turnaround was!

Question 1
Tell us about a situation in which you had to work in a team or with someone else to accomplish a task.
Went through a recruiter first and then had an interview in person. It went very smoothly and had no issues. They were kind and made it welcoming. Highly recommended giving it a go.

Interview
Pretty average interview. They focused on behavioral interview questions and asked for them to be answered using the STAR method. However, I recommend not wasting your time on it if you don't have the necessary "professional experience" that they never said they required. Otherwise, good luck!

Interview
Phone interview with recruiter followed by in-person interview with employees. Then they have you sign a contingent contract before they do the background check, drug screen, and reference check. Everything moved quickly and efficiently, but seemed to go out of order.
