Very casual. They asked me general questions: why I wanted to work there, and scenarios related to previous jobs. They also asked me to sell them a product. And if I was interested in being a dog groomer.

Casual sit down with manager, asked about transportation, living stability (do you plan on moving?), then run down of requirements and expectations of the job, and lastly, my own interests and hobbies. Very standard procedure, quick and easy. Also gave quick tour and run down of the day to day work.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks.I interviewed at PetSmart (Nashua, NH) in 01/11/2020
Interview
Pretty straight forward. I met with the salon manager and the store manager to discuss the position and what is expected. Schedule, pay, training, benefits and other information was given to me at this time. The only thing I found unprofessional was that when I showed up for the first interview with the store manager, he had called out sick that day. Luckily the salon manager was working, so I spoke with him instead.

Application
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks.I interviewed at PetSmart (Orange, CA) in 01/09/2017
Interview
Two phone interviews and an in person interview. Also a drug test. It took some time for them to get back with me, so I would suggest following up roughly one week after submitting an application online. No in-person applications with a huge company like petsmart.

Ask you questions about being part of a team and why you chose to apply for this company, etc. When I worked there they said they were going to start having people who apply act like they worked in the store to try and sell to a customer and see how they do.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days.I interviewed at PetSmart
Interview
I was referred by a friend who worked there. I submitted an online application and was called the next day for an interview. I went in later that day for an interview with the store manager and was asked alot of basic interview questions and scenarios and was also asked to sell him a product. This interview lasted about 45 minutes. Once I was done I was asked to wait for 30 minutes to interview with the store assistant manager. I walked around the store to get familiar with some products. I was called to come back to do my 2nd interview. The questions were the same exact ones I was asked earlier in my 1st. So I just repeated my answers. This interview lasted about only 10 mins. They both then asked me to come back in 2 days to interview with the lead groomer to see if she liked me. So I adreed. Came back 2 days later and the questions were the same questions again. Repeated my answers and she just said "Okay great, thanks for coming in". This interview was about 10 minutes.
