Spoke with a very pleasant recruiter, was passed along to meet a department head for another interview a few days later. Good so far. Then I miss a call from the recruiter, who emails me to say that they will be out of office for the rest of the day and week (it was a Wednesday afternoon) so they would be in touch the next week. Why were they in touch 5 days later? To waste my time with a rejection phone call. Yep that’s right, the recruiter made me wait for them to get back from their beach vacation or whatever to reschedule a phone call to get me on the line to tell me that they weren’t moving me forward to the next round. Honey leave me a voicemail or send an email. Wasted my time....
