I applied online. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Asheville, NC) in Oct 2020
Interview
I was invited to participate in a video interview in which interviewers were pre-recorded asking prompts. I had to record myself responding to each prompt, however I was only given 30 seconds to prepare a response before the camera automatically started recording and only about 2 minutes to actually record my response. They wanted very structured responses. It felt like a very robotic process, very rushed, and absolutely took away the opportunity to actually get to know the people that are interviewing you and build a more natural interview conversation. I feel that I was not given a fair chance due to not being naturally good on camera.
