I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Red Robin (Waldorf, MD) in Nov 2009
Interview
The hiring process is much more extensive than any other restaurants. They have an initial interview and if they hire you there are several classrooms and training sessions. You are tested on just about everything, even things you don't need to know for your position. They time you on serving tables on the regular.
I interviewed with two different managers, both of them emphasize it being very competitive. Basically just asking for serving experience and if I am able to upsell guests other than that and the red flags I'd say it's easy with experience.
Two person interview, very chill, simple basic questions and I felt very comfortable with them talking and doing the interview with me. It was super easy to get an interview, they called me.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Red Robin (Denver, CO) in July 2025
Interview
The interview process was easy and efficient. They offer informative and skilled training, opportunity for advancement and benefits for full time employees. Looking forward to working for such an amazing company.
