I had a first interview with someone more HR. They asked me general questions about my resume and experience. They didn't understand the technical aspects but still took note of it.
I then received a second interview with the senior director of the department. He was very lovely and asked way more technical and specific questions.

Interview
first a few easy-going phone interview with HR and manager.
main interview: 1 hr research presentation, then talk to a few teams (lab manager, technical expert, junior team and senior leader).

Three Step Process - 2 phone interviews, then one interview on site
First Phone interview is through HR, just to see how interested you are in the position
Second Phone interview is with the HM to see how compatible you are with the group and given an overview of the job itself
Third On Site interview is an all day mini meetings with various people throughout the company
