Should’ve known it was gonna be special when HR guy onsite asked if I needed water, and I said “yeah please.” He looked flustered like I asked him for his kidney. He brought some water in a paper cup that almost dissolved in my hands. During the interview with the subgroups, team kept questioning why I didn’t apply to a different place. Wait, why am I being interviewed here if I wanted to be somewhere else? They kept on putting my experience down and dismissed it. Belittled and diminished something I put months of work—even kept asking if I was the one who did it. Should’ve known how competitive and rancid this dept is by the dirty fingernails of one guy. FYI: don’t waste others candidates’ time when you already chose your favorite one. =) By bullying others you show your depts culture and the massive chip on your shoulder. This was so disappointing to experience.
