      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Remote in Feb 2026

      Interview

The interview process was lengthy: seven stages over seven weeks. They send a long test task to create a people page with a table rendering workers and covering some edge cases; it took me almost a full working week to make it production-ready. My advice is to pay full attention to edge cases in the unit tests for every component and also test the accessibility feature if you decide to do the test task. They also require you to record a 5- to 8-minute video after you finish your task and submit it. After submitting the test task, I had an interview with two staff engineers. One of them became agitated and triggered when I asked about a recent feature he worked on with a follow-up, which suggested to me that this company inflates job titles and is not investing enough in its employees. After that, I had a few rounds of behavioral interviews, and the interviewers seemed unengaged, simply asking the usual behavioral questions. Overall, their hiring process is described as transparent upfront, and the company, for some reason, decided to run a big tech-style interview loop. In my view, it isn’t worth it. The salary they offer isn’t close to big tech or tier-two companies, but the amount of effort required is comparable.

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback about your experience. We're sorry to hear that our interview process felt longer than anticipated. We aim to be thorough in our candidate evaluations, but we understand the importance of timeliness. We’re also concerned to hear that one of the technical conversations felt tense and unproductive, and that later behavioural interviews came across as disengaged or overly generic. We'll take your feedback on board as we continue to refine our process.
