We're so sorry for your poor experience, Maxim. First and foremost, we want to reassure you that this interview was conducted with the intention of genuinely finding someone to join our team, and not as a consultation just to find ideas. We are hiring two Software Architects right now and have already extended an offer for one of the positions.
We do tend to ask questions around our specific environment as many candidates have experiences in many different types of environments, especially when coming from much larger companies like yourself, and we like to confirm that their experiences fit within our environment specifically. Regardless of this, we really are sorry that you didn't enjoy your experience with our VP of R&D, and especially for the internet difficulties he may have had. This happens for both candidates and interviewers sometimes, especially in this remote world, and we're really sorry it impacted your specific experience, we shouldn't let that happen.
We hope we can make it up to you in the future sometime, but for now, we wish you all the best in your search for a new role, and hope to connect again soon. If you'd like to discuss any of this directly, feel free to reach out anytime.
Best wishes,
Matthew Brunwasser
