I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at SimpliSafe (Boston, MA) in Feb 2018
Interview
Week of training. Hired based on performance during week. Recruiters bring in a bunch of marginally qualified people. Pretty easy if you show up and pay attention. Learn about frequent requests.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at SimpliSafe
Interview
Three years ago, I interviewed at SimpliSafe, and it’s still THEE most uncomfortable interview experiences I’ve ever had.
The interviewer *tried* to take an intimidating approach, and many of her questions felt like traps rather than genuine conversations. She showed me a product description and asked if I thought it sounded good. I answered honestly and said yes, but she reacted negatively and huffed and puffed and said 'you're not going to hurt my feelings, just look harder'.
When I said I could improve the wording, she demanded specifics on the spot, but with such an attitude. The entire interaction felt tense and unprofessional. She seemed VERY disengaged and uninterested in being there.
I never received a follow-up — just SIMPLI GHOSTED

Interview process went well. Asked me if I was interested in the position that was offered. Nothing major, it was suppose to be a video interview but we spoke on the phone and I was asked to come in for another part of the interview.
