I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Social Security Administration (Birmingham, AL) in Feb 2010
Interview
Not very difficult. Fair at best. The questions were not hard to answer. They were interesting questions that you have to think about in order to give the best answer possible. Some of the questions were about personal experiences and the way you handled them.
I interviewed at Social Security Administration (Philadelphia, PA)
Interview
STAR method is used. Pretty straight forward; name a situation, your take and actions and the result of your action. Can be as descriptive or vague as you would like as long as you answer every part of the STAR method.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Social Security Administration (New York, NY) in June 2023
Interview
Via zoom. Started with behavioral questions, moved to answering some simple questions (some involving basic math), then a description of the job was provided. Wasn’t too long of an interview and they made me feel comfortable throughout the process. No offer yet
