Lengthy interview process: -Connected through an internal referral -Initial video meeting with HR/Owner -Skills test -3 separate VP video interviews -Video interview with an agency partner -Video meeting with HR to share I will not receive an offer but have another position in mind for me -Another video meeting with HR about the new position -Video interview with CEO and a verbal offer -Offer was paused by HR, and instead of the written offer, they asked me to do two more skills tests (a request for compensation for these was agreed upon, but I have not received payment yet - hopefully, it's just pending) -Reference checks and work sampler requests submitted -Phone call with HR and a verbal offer -Written offer Due to the length of the process, by the time I had a final offer, I needed to move on with a company that felt like a better culture and career goals fit. The number of steps it took to get an offer made it feel like I was not the right fit for this firm, especially since I was the only person interviewing for the positions.
