I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at State Farm (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2015
Interview
It was a phone interview. Very direct. Asked questions but not intimidatingly. I applied to a couple different positions and so she said she would ask me questions regarding each one. After the interview, she said which job position she recommended for me and gave me the option of the full time or part time position.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at State Farm (Atlanta, GA) in Dec 2025
Interview
I was called by a screener who asked me basic questions about myself: strengths, weaknesses. The call lasted about 15 minutes. He didn't seem to know many of details about the position. This seems to be the process for State Farm.

Question 1
Why are you interested in working for State Farm Insurance?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Berea, OH) in Apr 2025
Interview
Interview was just okay, included the owner, office manager, and another sales agent. The male agents seemed nice but the women were not that friendly. Seemed like a red flag that the one ignored me when I said hello. Seemed a bit too tight knit for me.

Question 1
Are you okay with no work from home and working until 7pm a couple nights a week?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at State Farm (Novi, MI) in Nov 2024
Interview
Asked me about insurance industry. How extensive was my knowledge in that field. How comfortable I am in sales. Typical questions. Most important thing is to have a property and casualty license. Must get it on your own. They do not assist in acquiring it.
