I was asked about my experiences and background and why I am interested in this university
It was a very casual Zoom with two interviewers. They both were very kind- the interview didn't feel formal at all. It was around 15 minutes long. I got the acceptance email around a week later.
The first contact the professor introduce your background and publications. It largely depends on the publication. So if you can have a decent publication history, It is easy to get a interview. And It can prove your ability to do research.
