First interview through Webex, well informed for using the app. It was a basic screening and the recruiter is asking some questions like self intro, why you are looking out to join us? How did you start your accounts payable career? Also, require candidate to do Korean typing speed test (want me to try my best to score 45 wpm, I barely can do this for English typing test) and some random essay writing (irrelevant to job scope at all, we don't need to do all these in accounts/ finance)
Second interview with a native Korean, a team lead from Customer Service dept to interview on Korean oral test. Asked about Strength, weakness, why you want to join us, how do you release stress. Asked to do short typing test. My Korean speaking is very bad but I can understand questions and give relevant answers. Seems like they want to hire someone who can rather speak well, type well in Korean rather than having strong relevant professional background. Immediately rejected me through e-mail, using negatively structured sentence: "this person is failing the interview." Very disappointed as someone being a professional being judged by customer service team due to weak Korean speaking (no testing on reading AT ALL). It's big red flag. Why none of the relevant team is involving in the hiring process at all? It concludes that they will never hire a good match to this job.
