It was a scheduled telephonic interview of about 30-minute. Since it was an initial screening round the HR briefly introduced the company, the products and the applied position and then asked about my profile. Later the HR asked some questions about my profile and gave time for me to ask any questions about the job.

I was referred by a friend and was contacted by the HR department. There was an initial phone interview with an HR rep followed by a more technical panel interview. I went over my experience with them and discussed what I hoped to get from an internship position at the company. The whole process starting from the referral to the offer took about a month.
