I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at TELUS (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2022
Interview
Loooong, tiring, unresponsive, demotivating, and then they're unsure if they want to hire anyone or not. Can't believe it happened 3 times in 6 months at the same company! Never applying again.
Basically they are trying to find new ideas by giving case studies, close the position without hiring anyone and implement those ideas in business!
Ghosting is a culture, they'll contact you, will tell you that they really like you, will definitely reach out in a few days and then will not get back to you, on following up will ask you to wait, then eventually ghost you. Worse feeling than being ghosted by a gf/bf.
Process:
1. HR screening 2. hiring manager 3. Case presentation, 4. senior director 5. HR

Question 1
Basic questions like why do you want to join, strengths and extra focus on your weakness or something where you made a mistake.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at TELUS (Calgary, AB) in Apr 2026
Interview
Smooth and professional. Communication timed, clear and transparent. Salary range was shared in the first interview which was good. Second phase was setup nicely with a breakdown of how the interview was going to go
All remote: one interview with hiring manager, one interview with HR, one interview with team member, one panel interview with prepared case (presentation). Overall met great people and found the process to be smooth.

What would a successful technical program look like?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at TELUS (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2024
Interview
It was a joke. The Hiring manager basically (and quite openly admitted) wanted to get information about my past company (a competitor). She went all the way asking for the financials and product pipeline. lol.
