I prepared for the interview but still did not pass it. They didn't tell people what questions to expect in the interview or how to prepare for the interview. Unlike TSA, LAPD provides every candidate with a mentor to help them pass the entire process. TSA needs to help candidates prepare for the hiring process.

It was a very long wait to start to finish like a half year or so, big process to endure. Background check, several testing, etc.There was an in-person interview as well as lab testing.

You do an assessment then you go to do a face to face interview. It was a STAR Format interview and I practiced and aced the interview. I was not offered the position due to having mental health issues so becareful not to tell them if you are on antidepressants.
