Easy direction and nice to speak with. Met in the lunch room tho so it could’ve been more professional. Still has a pleasant experience and made it easy to accept the position
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target in July 2011
Interview
The interview was pretty early (7 a.m.) and I was interviewed by someone from the overnight crew. He hardly looked at me during the interview, as he was constantly writing on his interview packet. The questions weren't difficult, such as "Why do you want to work for Target?" and although I gave some unenthusiastic answers, "Uh, it seems...fun," he apparently really liked me and gave me high marks on the interview.
From there, I interviewed with that person's boss and the questions were situational in nature and pretty much similar to the ones in the previous interview, but the interviewer judges you harder, so I gave better, more specific answers. The interviewer felt my experience was also suited to the in-stock position and brought in the person in charge of that team and I talked with him about the position and my experience. This was more conversational, as he didn't fill out any interview packet.
They really liked that I had a degree and talked about opportunities for advancement within the company. They also like people who are enthusiastic about working for them, so be sure to smile. But if you didn't, like me, they'll probably look past that if your responses are good enough.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Victor, NY)
Interview
I met with two different team leaders who asked me some basic and situational questions. They were very adamant about making sure I was okay with coming in early (anywhere from 6-8 AM) and that I wouldn't be calling in sick a lot.
