I applied in-person. I interviewed at Tesla (Fremont, CA) in June 2017
Interview
They just look for information with no intention to hire. They asked many basic questions indicating that they don't know much about QA. Majority of questions was on choice of framework. On the next day, they post up another job for the choice of framework I proposed.
The interview lasted about an hour, two code questions, medium difficulty, and asked about past projects, the interviewer was pretty good, and there was an online test to look for bugs, not very difficult, but it really took more time

Question 1
Can't disclose due to NDA. But the questions are popular leetcode.
After applying the recruiter will reach out to you via email if there is good fit. This was for co-op position. There are questions that you need answer and send back to the recruiter. Then the first round is scheduled which is a coding round, varies by team.
