I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Hanover Insurance Group (Howell, MI) in Apr 2013
Interview
Very friendly people. Simple questions. The managers that interviewed were very personable so it was an enjoyable experience. Most questions were experience based, so as long as you know what you've done and are able to carry a convo, you'll be golden.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Hanover Insurance Group (Worcester, MA) in July 2018

First they send you a questionnaire to complete, then a phone interview with an onsite recruiter. After that there is a 2 hour interview including: 30 min shadow, 2 - 30 min face-to-face interviews and then another 30 min phone interview. Everyone seemed very nice. Be sure to give detailed responses and show that you did your research.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Hanover Insurance Group (Atlanta, GA) in May 2018
Interview
Initially, there was a phone interview which led to an in person interview. The interview consisted of a shadowing of the position I was interviewing for, followed by two additional phone interviews in a conference room by upper management and finally a one on one interview with a local manager. It lasted approximately 3 hours. Very relaxed environment.
