Lots of behavioral questions and a technical question unscramble focusing on understanding your collaboration skills and communication skills done with another interviewee. Priority here is to show the interviewer you can work well in a team.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Austin, TX) in Aug 2017
Interview
I was asked to come in for an interview based on a previous application I had sent in. There were about 25 candidates at the interview, which comprised of a 1-on-1 portion as well as a group portion. They mentioned that they were looking to move quickly on filling the positions, and I received an offer the next day.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked me about myself and my interests, as well as some basic technical questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Zoomvliet) in Nov 2024
Interview
One HR phone call: how much experience in this or that language? tell me about your projects. Etc etc
One technical round: You and at least one other person perform a pseudocode scramble style question where you are tasked with organizing the pieces so that they build an app. (They are looking for thought process and teamwork here)
They also give you a case study to perform.
The interview process was simple and well organized. Got a call back the day after applying to schedule an online interview. Enjoyed the process of interviewing with the Home Depot
