The position requires networking with professors who can support you. I found the lab I work in by going over all the different labs on the department website and narrowed them down to three that sounded interesting. I did some background research and emailed the professor about open potions for funded research.

The interview process was very smooth, and the professor made me feel comfortable. The professor was interested in learning about my background, my motivation, my interests and shared information about the funding project. He explained the deliverables and what was expected of me as a GRA.

Interview
Ohio State has the standard interview process for physics grad schools. You submit an application and if you are approved, there's an open house you can attend before you make your decision. There was no formal, sit-down interview.
Two times of interview. In the first time, just one professor interview me. In the second time, there are four professor give me the interview. The question is not too hard to answer.
