We’re currently evolving our approach to Think Exercises and recruiting process so that we may provide options for candidates at all levels, from those just starting out to those who already have a deep and diverse portfolio. Additionally, those options will help to make this an even more equitable process for applicants from different backgrounds and life circumstances.
To date, we have found great success using the Think Exercise as a way of leveling the playing field for candidates whose existing portfolio pieces may not fully showcase a given skillset or ability required for a role. Additionally, we always use fictional prompts for the Think Exercise; resulting work is purely for evaluative purposes and never used in any existing client or internal work.
