I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TigerGraph in Oct 2023
Interview
When I interviewed back in around late 2023, there were 5 interviews that I had. This may change.
- Interview with the recruiter (around 15 min phone call, Week 1): behavioral
- Interview with the CEO (30 min, Week 2): some behavioral interviews, as well as 1 or so technical question
- Interview with the Solution Engineer Manager (1 hour, Week 2): mostly behavioral. For the most part, I just asked him questions about the work he's doing at TigerGraph.
- Technical Interview with the Solution Engineer Team Lead (1 hour, Week 3): mostly technical, we do leetcode-style questions in Google Docs, and I got to write some python code there - we didn't get to run the code. The set of questions I received are a bit related to one another.
- Interview with the VP of Product (30 min, Week 4): behavioral
Except for the interview/call with the recruiter, all of the interviews I've done are done remotely, via Zoom.
Two of the interviewers arrived considerably late (around 15 minutes or so). Now that I worked here, I realized that sometimes people have meetings that they can't just get out right on time (it could be an important meeting). The recruiter did a good job of checking-in with the interviewers when they arrived late - I just had to text-message the recruiter (he gave me his number) and mention about an interviewer not arriving when around 5 - 10 minutes passed.
The process was pretty quick for me. I think part of that was because they are trying to recruit quickly for the role (at that time), and another part was I am pretty flexible with the start date.
The timeline from the time I applied to the time I get the initial offer was around 20 days. I specified the week of each interview above. The recruiter reached out to me on the same day that I applied about the initial interview.
The timeline from the time I get the initial offer to the time I started working at TigerGraph, was around 4 weeks (I was in another interview loop at that time), and when I did accept the offer, there was a 2-week gap until the real start date. I like how attentive the recruiter is to me, and he answered the different questions that I have for him.
I'm very glad to go with TigerGraph, and I'm happy to say that my interview experience at TigerGraph is positive.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TigerGraph (Redwood City, CA)
Interview
Interview with CEO. It was half an hour and seemed very rushed. He asked questions about previous job. Then he gave a Leetcode question in the last 10 minutes of the meeting and had to leave before the question could be answered.
