Went through a phone screening a few months ago. Had a phone call and spent about 20 minutes chatting about the role. I was coming from an industry that I think they were hoping to expand on and some of the questions felt like a little bit of too much information about current work in progress. Also, I thought I recalled the job noting that it was remote but they were looking for someone to live in their area (which I was no where near).
Lastly, when they moved on for the role, I had asked if there was any opportunity for interview feedback (so I had some idea for where I didn't meet the mark or if it was more related to location), they said they could not share any details. So that was a bit disappointing.

Other Product Manager interview reviews for TikTok
They arranged 3 rounds of interviews with all team members, not the hiring manager. I felt like it was not the typical process because one of them said they were changing the direction of this role.

Question 1
A really technical case and how to solve the pain point.
There are in total 4rounds including 2 rounds with senior peers and 1 round with +1 and round with HR, not that difficult. But I think the experience match is most important……..
4 interviews
- Recruiter screening
- HM interview
- Peer Interview
- Functional interview
Each round has around 45 minutes. Case and BQ are heavy, and the interviewers will leave 5-10 minutes for questions toward the end of the session
