I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TikTok (London, England) in June 2024
Interview
I was approached by the HR4HR recruiter for a role in London. They effectively matched every stereotype I ever had about the team. Asked for an unscheduled call at 8pm, asked a grand total of 2 questions, read
a couple of sentences from the JD (which I wasn't even offered to review in advance) that included such words as "scrappy" and "autonomous" and ended the call under 7 minutes. I was offered absolutely zero information about the role, team or any sort of expectations apart from interview process... Rejected the same night via automated email, which is fine with me but also had the audacity to say that we have more competitive candidates in the pipeline. Based on what criteria?
Dodged a bullet - thank you!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TikTok (San Jose, CA) in Nov 2023
Interview
I was asked very metrics-driven questions, in addition to behavioral questions. Typical recruiter and sourcer questions, nothing out of the ordinary. Having relevant experience to the team I joined helped a lot I think. There are many teams hiring so ask your R4R which team you can apply for.

Question 1
What did your numbers look like at your previous role? Close rates, etc.
How do you know if your pipeline is healthy?
Some behavioral questions came up too - working with hiring managers, etc
