I was contacted by the Manager of Talent acquisition and had an over-the-phone interview. The second round was a team meeting with the Chief Human Resource Officer and hiring manager. In the middle of the meeting, I am told, "I am perfect for the position, and I want to bring you to Cincinnatti to meet the team at HQ. This role would be great for you, and other opportunities could also open up". Ten days later or so I drive to Cincinnati and meet with their team. Sr. Director of Training. VP of Asset Protection and SVP of store operations. Goes great. Have a follow up meeting while there with the CHRO. Told to talk to your family etc. I reached out a day or two later and thanked the TA Manager and CHRO. Told the CHRO that the only piece that I am missing is the offer or at least an agreed-upon salary range. I was then GHOSTED by all. Got a rejection letter two months later. The job is still open.
