Nice chat with the HR person, we stayed on video for more than 1 hour and I shared all required info, including my salary expectations. We dropped the call with the plan of getting in touch after the Summer break to continue the process. After 2 months I get contacted by a head hunter contracted by the organization, who wasn't aware of my "ongoing" process, who also shared the potential salary, about half of what I currently earn. The point is, if there is any issue (in the first interview), why don't let the other person know without creating any expectation? Being rejected is fine, but being ghosted is not ok.
