I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UCLA Health (South San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2018
Interview
Applied through staffing agency. Process took one week. They didn't go through phone interview. I was invited to on-site interview. It was panel type. They asked general questions and technical questions. Interview took 30 min. Everyone seemed friendly
Basic interview questions with some extensive questions along with the job title and experience. Got a tour of the facility, really cool to see the environment and people you would be working with.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at UCLA Health in July 2024
Interview
After 4 interviews with the hiring managers (doctors) and the process over 5 months (application to rejection) with team members, 1 assessment, and a follow-up on the evaluation, I received an email from one of the hiring managers saying that they are reassessing the needs of the role within their team. After 2 weeks, the job offer was published again. I understand there was no fit at that time but after 5 months of application process and meetings, I would have expected more details about my application. The positive sign is that everyone I interviewed with was very professionally polite.

Question 1
Where do I see myself in the long-term? How does the role fit into my career trajectory?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UCLA Health (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Parts of the interview were a bit condescending from some members of the lab team. They were based on past work experience I had that were unrelated to research that they thought were unnecessary or spoke to a lack of skill.
