I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at UCLA in Aug 2011
Interview
Allot time for parking and finding the building and room. I was provided with a detailed email from the administrative staff instructing me where to pick up my parking permit and asked the helpful parking attendant where to park. Look carefully at the signs (make sure you park in designated areas for your permit). Bring a print out of the campus map. Ask others you run into for help with directions. Planning ahead will save a lot of stress. I recommend visiting the location a couple of days before, or the day before, if possible. You will arrive in a calm and confident state.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at UCLA (Los Angeles, CA) in July 2019
Interview
The process takes forever. From application to employment took about 2 months. Once you are the final candidate, HR needs to fill out and approve a lot of paperwork. You also have to submit your fingerprints at the police station.
