I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ultimate Home Health Care (Abuja, Federal Capital Territory) in Feb 2023
Interview
The interview process typically consists of several stages designed to assess a candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and cultural fit for a company. While the specifics can vary depending on the company and role, here's a general outline:
1. Application and Screening
Application Submission: You submit your resume, cover letter, and other required documents to the company.
Initial Screening: A recruiter or hiring manager reviews your application to determine if you meet the basic qualifications for the role.
This may involve a phone call or email to discuss your background and verify key details.
2. Phone or Video Interview (First Round)
Purpose: This stage is usually to assess your general qualifications and ensure you are a good fit for the role before moving on to more in-depth interviews.
Format: Often conducted by a recruiter or hiring manager, it may include questions about your resume, motivations for applying, career goals, and relevant experience.
Expect behavioral questions (e.g., "Tell me about a time when...").
Duration: 30 minutes to 1 hour.
3. Technical or Skills Assessment (if applicable)
Purpose: For technical roles (e.g., software engineering, data science), a skills assessment is often conducted to evaluate your problem-solving abilities and technical expertise.
Format: This can be done through coding challenges, problem-solving exercises, or skills tests.
Some companies may ask you to complete these tasks online or during a live interview.
Duration: Varies (from an hour to multiple days, depending on the role and complexity).
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Ultimate Home Health Care
Interview
I walked in. I felt as if I needed to produce right off the bat and it just didn't feel right to me. I need to be able to believe in what I am marketing, but felt a little intimidated. Not usually like me. This industry has changed since I was in it. Ultimate is right for the right person
