I applied in-person. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at United Way (Denver, CO) in Mar 2020
Interview
Interview panel with situation based questions and experience questions, 3 rounds. HR screening first, then panels with 2 different teams and then HR final selection discussion. Salaries are all over the map here, mostly low for beginning roles.

Strengths and challenges you’ll bring to this position
Series of interviews required. Some interviewers seemed disengaged. Many described significant changes underway and cultural transformation which seemed like it may be stressful. Panel interviews included many situational leadership questions where they wanted detailed examples from other employers/clients/customers.

Share a challenge with a coworker and how you resolved it.
Easy alas a formal rejection would have been appropriate one phone interview and one zoom and then nothing. Such is life. I hope they found the right person for this important community role.
Panel interview with staff from different departments. Each staff asked a series of questions ranging from behavioral to organization-specific knowledge. They use their own terminology so that was difficult to navigate.
