I was interviewed by 3 PIs and a Postdoc. The interviewing process is professional. I've also asked some questions concerning living and doing research in Norway, and their answers are helpful.

If you're interested in our research, you must have read our articles. Describe the one that fascinated you most and give reasons.
There was one round of interviews, with a 10-minute paper discussion followed by 20 minutes of questions about the PhD project and its relevance. Very inflexible with regards to organizing the interview, they gave one time slot without asking about preferences.

Interview
The interview took place between me and my future supervisors. They mostly asked the popular general questions and they asked some general technical questions. The interview took 1 hour. This is different for each position.
