Interview
You will go through two or three different HR people before you are offered a job. All of the HR folks are pleasant and easy to talk with. Just be yourself and you will be fine!
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vacations To Go (Houston, TX) in Oct 2021
Interview
I interviewed just before the pandemic went full throttle. I was disappointed that I none of us were able to start working at VTG and the lady that interviewed me echoed the same sentiment. Fast forward, as we could see the end of the pandemic on the horizon I called vacations to go. The receptionist is now the head of human resources and I was so excited for her and she remembered me that made me feel special. We set up an interview I came and talked to her briefly and then to a gentleman in the most lack luster interviewed I ever experienced. A week later, I received a flat turn down. It blew my mind in fact the letter that was sent to me not by human resources by someone else. It said I did not get considered for the job and don't ask us why I. I couldn't believe it. I. I have an advanced degree with progressively responsible jobs on my resume. My references are impeccable. This was a big disappointment because I had looked forward to joining vacations to go with my 35 plus years of cruising and look forward to working at VTG for many years and retiring from them. I emailed my dialing and wished them well. The following week I was offered a commodity sales position which I accepted. The day I started and everyday since then I've exceeded every other agent's production by a minimum of 20% every day sometimes it's even 50% over the fellow sales agents. Pity, often I wonder how much I would have done selling a product that truly excites me, compared to energy products. I comfort myself with my very profitable current position, which I never would have seen at VTG.
