Learning and Development Project Manager Interview

      10 Sept 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Santa Monica, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Veo (Santa Monica, CA) in Sept 2025

      Interview

I applied online and was contacted quickly. The initial interview lasted less than 8 minutes and felt rushed, with no meaningful discussion of the company or role. The process described included multiple stages: a screening, a one-on-one, a 48-hour take-home assignment, and then panel interviews to present that assignment to senior leaders. Requiring candidates to complete extensive work assignments before being considered is unreasonable. It asks applicants to provide ideas and labor for free, with no guarantee of moving forward. This practice reflects poorly on the company’s hiring approach and shows little respect for candidates’ time and expertise. Overall, the process felt unprofessional, discouraging, and not worth pursuing.

      Question 1

Tell me about yourself? Why VEO? Are you still with your current company? How far do you live from Santa Monica? Can you come in 4x a week? What is your salary expectations?
