The overall recruitment process started off well, with a very professional and friendly experience from the HR team — clear communication and a respectful tone throughout.
However, the technical interview was underwhelming and felt rushed. The interviewer didn’t turn on their camera, which made the interaction feel impersonal and disengaged. The questions asked were vague and overly generic, mostly centered around the C++ STL, without any real depth or effort to explore problem-solving skills, past experience, or technical reasoning. The session lasted barely 20 minutes, which didn't feel like a serious attempt to evaluate my potential or capabilities.
For a company that claims to value talent and growth, I expected a more thoughtful and rigorous technical evaluation. I hope they revisit this part of their process to better reflect the standards they seem to uphold elsewhere.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Wazuh in Aug 2025
